According to US media reports on June 30, Mercedes-Benz plans to expand the lineup of plug-in hybrids and introduce the A250e, a Class A plug-in hybrid. Although the model is not sold in the US, its power system will be used in the US version.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class plug-in hybrid version will be powered by the same 1.3T turbocharged engine and electric motor as the A200, equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The four-cylinder engine produces 158 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque, while the new electric motor will provide up to 101 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Final performance data has not been released. According to reports, in terms of performance, the model should be comparable to the A250.
The new model A250e is equipped with a 15kWh battery pack. Under the WLTP standard, the pure electric range is more than 37 miles (60 kilometers), while the pure electric mode has a top speed of 87 miles (140 kilometers).
The A250e is expected to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September this year. The powertrain can also be used in A-Class cars, CLAs and GLBs. Guiyang Mengguan Peng Longchenyi Mercedes-Benz Mengguan International Automobile Trade City, Hongxing Road Middle Section
